The Eagles held their 14th practice of training camp on Monday. Here’s what I saw:
-- A difficult six-day stretch for the players ended with about a three-hour practice in pads. There weren’t any “live” tackling periods – there haven’t been any since Friday – and there won’t be any more in camp, per Doug Pederson. All told, the Eagles had about three days of “live” football. The real thing starts on Thursday with the first preseason game. The players will have off on Tuesday and then a walkthrough session on Wednesday. Pederson said that Sam Bradford will start at quarterback and that his playing time will depend on the success of the offense.
