It’s a done deal! The Philadelphia Phillies have officially announced that they have signed the most prominent Free Agent in Baseball by inking Bryce Harper to a 13-year deal. While many expected Harper’s contract to contain an early opt-out, it turns out that Harper had every intention of inking a deal with a team that would become his permanent home for the rest of his career. Now, Harper is a part of the Philadelphia sports scene for quite a long time.
Naturally, Philadelphia Eagles players were very excited. As a few of them have participated in recruiting the former Washington Nationals outfielder throughout the negotiating process, they would be happy to find out that it’s a done deal after waiting months for a signing.
