Tyreek Burwell, who signed with the Eagles in January, announced his retirement via Instagram.
The 27-year old spent three years at the NFL and saw regular season action for the Colts in 2017, after a two-year tenure with the Chargers, which saw him appear in 11 games as a rookie.
Burwell was never really considered a lock to make the roster and was always going to be fighting for a spot on the back-end of the depth chart, but it’s always a strange feeling seeing a player retire.
