Eagles make changes at defensive tackle

The Philadelphia Eagles waived defensive tackle Bruce Hector on Tuesday, according to an official announcement from the team. In a corresponding roster move, the Eagles promoted Treyvon Hester from the practice squad.

Hector originally signed with the Eagles as an undrafted rookie free agent following the 2018 NFL Draft. He impressed the team enough for them to keep him on the 53-man roster for four games but it’s clear the coaching staff didn’t really trust him to play. Hector logged a mere 20 defensive snaps played in the month of September.
