The Thursday night battle would come down to the Panthers’ final possession, with just over a minute to go but the defense would make the stop on fourth-and-1, allowing the offense to end the game in the victory formation.

Quarterback Carson Wentz earned his second consecutive game with three touchdowns or more, finishing the night going 16-30, 222 yards and three touchdowns. LeGarrette Blount ran for 67 yards on 14 carries. Alshon Jeffery led the team with four receptions for 71 yards.
