The Eagles’ search for a veteran running back is beginning to heat up. Pressure will now be building on Howie Roseman after it was announced that a former target of the team, Carlos Hyde, has signed a deal with the Seahawks.
A recent report from ESPN suggested that the Eagles had interest in Hyde, Devonta Freeman, and LeSean McCoy. With one of those backs off the board just one day after Adam Caplan cited that the Birds’ were only willing to pay a veterans minimum to attain one of those backs, they may well have to up their price.
