It took way longer than it should have, but legendary Eagles wideout Harold Carmichael is finally a Hall of Famer. The man whose #17 jersey is still widely represented throughout the City of Brotherly Love has officially been confirmed as a member of the 2020 class.
Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie released the following statement:
“Congratulations to Harold Carmichael on being selected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Our entire organization is so proud to see Harold earn this well-deserved honor. Harold revolutionized the wide receiver position and became one of the most productive players of his era and in the history of our franchise.
