According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Philadelphia Eagles are hiring another coach with a connection to Nick Sirianni. Jason Michael will replace Justin Peele as the teams’ new TE coach.
Michael just finished his second season with the Colts as their tight ends coach, working under newly-signed Eagles HC Nick Sirianni. He joins DC Jonathan Gannon and Kevin Patullo in jumping ship.
Michael actually worked with Sirianni during the 2013 season as well as the teams’ TE coach. He departed that role for a shot at an offensive coordinator gig in Tennessee which he held for two years before becoming the teams’ QB coach and transitioning back to a TE guru in 2018 with the Cardinals.
