The Philadelphia Eagles opened Week 10 with an explosive trade and closed out the first day of the week with a quiet move.
Eagles general manager Howie Roseman went to work as he traded a 2026 third-round pick to the Miami Dolphins in exchange for edge rusher Jaelan Phillips. The arrival of Phillips had every Eagles fan excited, but there was another move made the same day that went under the radar.
Philly signed wide receiver Danny Gray to the practice squad while releasing offensive guard Sua Opeta.
Gray returns to the Eagles after having spent all of last year on the practice squad and started this year's training camp on the roster before being cut at the end of July.
