Eagles' forgotten preseason signing just solved Sydney Brown problem

The Eagles made a series of transactions as the team prepares for their Week 14 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.

The team announced that their experienced reserve safety Marcus Epps could return soon, as he activated his practice window. They also released veteran practice squad cornerback Parry Nickerson.

Reinforcement is on the way for the Eagles at safety

Epps' potential return comes at a time when the Eagles are uncomfortably vulnerable at the position. Andrew Mukuba is currently on injured reserve, Reed Blankenship is playing despite an injury, and the Sydney Brown experiment seems like it should have been over about a year ago.
