Eagles finalize quarterback room with most unsurprising release imaginable

It was inevitable that it was going to happen, but Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman made the move that needed to happen in the quarterback room.

The Eagles announced the released of quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson as he didn't make it a year on the team. Thompson-Robinson was apart of the Kenny Pickett trade in the offseason with the Cleveland Browns.

DTR played in just two games with the Eagles in the preseason. He finished with completing 10 of 16 passes for 73 yards and one interception. The Eagles made the decision to bench him for the last preseason game against the New York Jets, as rookie Kyle McCord played the whole game at quarterback.
