The Philadelphia Eagles are no strangers to having their assistant coaches and coordinators plucked from their staff. It comes with the territory of a team that has won two Super Bowls in the last eight seasons and only missed the playoffs once during that span.
Just last year, they had offensive coordinator Kellen Moore stolen by the New Orleans Saints to fill their head coaching vacancy. Over the last few years, they have also seen Shane Steichen, Jonathan Gannon, and Frank Reich all earn head jobs with other NFL teams directly from the staff in Philly.
There are already several jobs open, as the Tennessee Titans and New York Giants both fired their head coaches mid-season.
