Sometimes, it's okay to be aggressive, but common sense needs to kick in at some point.
The Philadelphia Eagles faced that situation in their 10-7 win over the Green Bay Packers in Week 10, where they had a fourth-and-six at the Packers' 35-yard line with under 30 seconds left. Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni appeared to have made the call to go for it, and they called a Jalen Hurts deep ball to A.J. Brown that went incomplete and gave Green Bay a chance. Packers kicker Brandon McManus missed a 64-yard field goal as the Eagles avoided disaster, but the decision to go for it had Philly sports media targeting Sirianni.
