A look at some of the more pertinent statistics and trends heading into today’s divisional-round playoff game between the Eagles and Falcons:
Struggling on third down
–The Eagles slipped to eighth in third-down efficiency (41.7 percent) after converting just three of 25 third-down opportunities in their last two games.
–In the 10 quarters that Nick Foles has played since Carson Wentz got hurt, the Eagles have converted just eight of 35 third-down opportunities (22.9 percent). Six of those were against the Giants.
–Foles has a 61.6 passer rating on third down. He has completed just 11 of 27 third-down attempts and has averaged only 3.
