Eagles elevate Le’Raven Clark to the active roster ahead of Panthers game

The Eagles elevated offensive tackle Le’Raven Clark from the practice squad to the active roster on Sunday as a COVID-19 replacement for Sua Opeta.

This isn’t entirely surprising given the team’s need to ensure some kind of depth on a continually dwindling offensive line. Head coach Nick Sirianni confirmed on Friday that Lane Johnson will miss Sunday’s game against the Panthers as he continues to deal with a “personal matter,” but Philadelphia fortunately will get Jordan Mailata back in the mix.

Sirianni wouldn’t say whether Mailata will be back at left tackle, or if Andre Dillard will stay on the left and Mailata will move to the right — citing competitive advantage for that to be unknown until game time.
