There are three other defensive tackles on the active roster: Fletcher Cox, Timmy Jernigan, and Hassan Ridgeway. Bruce Hector sits on the practice squad.
He might want to stay ready. If Jackson has a serious injury, it may be Hector who gets his name called first.
