After a nervy few days waiting for clarification on what the punishment is for Jalen Carter, Eagles fans finally got some relieving news on Tuesday afternoon. O.J Spivey reported that Carter would indeed not be suspended by the NFL for his altercation with Dak Prescott, before Adam Schefter built on that by stating that Carter would be fined $57,000 for the incident.
Carter was ejected from the Eagles’ season-opener against Dallas before the game even got underway. The defensive tackle spat in the direction of the Dallas quarterback which immediately led to the controversial call, although later angles showed that Dak may well have initiated the incident with similar behavior.
