Eagles DBs show off their versatility at training camp with unusual new roles

Every Philadelphia Eagles fan knew how versatile defensive backs Cooper DeJean and Reed Blankenship was from their play on the field and the work on their podcast "Exciting Mics." Now, the two might have a new role they weren't expecting to play in their careers.

Before the Eagles' training camp practice, DeJean and Blankenship were seen working on the special teams side of the ball. It wasn't to help with coverage on kickoffs or punt returns. It was an entirely different role.

They were seen as holders for kicker Jake Elliott as they were practicing catching snaps from long snapper Charley Hughlett, as they appear to be the emergency holders.
