We’ve all said what we want Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz to do. Coaches have, no doubt, told him what they want him to do. Eagles chairman and CEO Jeffrey Lurie probably has his own theories on the subject. Still, after much discussion, we finally heard from Wentz, himself, on the second day of the Eagles’ offseason workout program. We can now claim to have some understanding on what he’s thinking.
He’s not playing in the preseason. He still intends to be ready for Week 1 of the regular season. We also learned, despite the possibility of him wearing a brace for the remainder of his NFL career, he has no intention of changing his playing style.
