The Philadelphia Eagles announced some practice squad news on Thursday morning.
Brett Toth is now back with the team after clearing waivers. The Eagles cut him to make room for the Kary Vincent Jr. trade.
The Eagles seem to value Toth’s developmental potential so it’s good for them that they didn’t end up losing him to another team.
In order to make room for Toth on the practice squad, the Eagles released Craig James. Things have gone downhill for James ever since he had a good 2020 offseason that earned him a one-year contract extension and co-special teams captaincy.
