There have been some surprising performances on the Philadelphia Eagles in 2025, but the one comeback story on the team has been remarkable to watch this season.
During the offseason, there was much speculation about the Eagles trading away tight end Dallas Goedert after another season of injuries, and they were set to pay him $14 million. Goedert ended up betting on himself and wanting to stay in Philly, so he took a pay cut that dropped his salary to $10 million.
Goedert has made the most of the opportunity with statistically one of the best seasons of his career and one of the best for a tight end in franchise history.
