We seem to be in the midst of a Scooby Doo mystery in regards to the Eagles’ offensive coordinator job. First, Mike Groh was coming back…then, he wasn’t…zoinks!
Since then, there have been some odd reports where the Eagles either interviewed, or sought to interview, a few other candidates only for them to make a statement that they would stay where they are, respectively (Graham Harrell, James Urban, Bobby Engram, etc).
Everyone then thought Chiefs’ QB coach Mike Kafka would be the target until word on the street said Andy Reid would block him. Now some are turning their attention to 49ers’ assistants Mike LaFleur and Mike McDaniel.
