As the Eagles prepared to take the field Friday for their last full practice before Carson Wentz's season debut Sunday against the visiting Indianapolis Colts, their offensive lineup remained unsettled.
Coach Doug Pederson told reporters he hopes to find out more on the status of running back Jay Ajayi from the Friday practice. Ajayi (back) and running back/returner Darren Sproles (hamstring) have not practiced this week. Pederson said the same went for Sproles, but a few days ago, Pederson indicated that Sproles was not as close to playing as Ajayi.
Pederson's stance all week has been that left tackle Jason Peters will play, protecting Wentz's blindside as the quarterback takes the field for the first time since last Dec.
