Two years ago Philadelphia Eagles coach Chip Kelly brought his fast paced offense to the NFL and had success, especially in the big play department.
However, the coach admitted that defenses have gotten hip to his scheme and they won't play the coverages that his offense likes to exploit.
“Two years ago we set an NFL record for explosive plays,” Kelly said, via the Eagles Twitter account.
“Now no one plays those coverages.”
Fast forward to 2015, the Eagles have no offensive plays of 40 or more yards their longest running play is 27 yards in three games.
