A year ago this time - on the first day of the new league year - the Eagles had trades in place that would move Demarco Murray, Byron Maxwell, and Kiko Alonso, and they had agreements in principle with free agents Brandon Brooks, Rodney McLeod, Ron Brooks, and Chase Daniel.
Most, if not all, of the transactions had already been reported by various outlets. But that didn't make some of them - particularly the deals that sent Murray to the Titans and Maxwell and Alonso to the Dolphins - all the less surprising.
