Don’t tell that to Dave Fipp and the Eagles. Since arriving in Philadelphia in 2013, the Eagles' special teams coordinator has built and orchestrated one of the best units in football. In 2014, the Eagles set a franchise record and led the NFL with seven return touchdowns. He’s also coached Darren Sproles to the first two Pro Bowls of his NFL career, helped Cody Parkey set an NFL rookie record with 150 points and aided Donnie Jones as he set Eagles single-season records in gross and net punting averages.
Fipp was one of the four assistant coaches retained by the team this offseason when Doug Pederson was hired as head coach, and he’s ready to build on what the group has done over the past three seasons.
