Brian Westbrook, Jimmy Rollins: Two of a kind

THEIR INTRODUCTIONS were separated by about seven hours and 700 yards. Brian Westbrook came first, strolling out of the tunnel in the southeast corner of Lincoln Financial Field wearing a white floppy cap and an Eagles polo. Jimmy Rollins came second, stepping into the batter's box at Citizens Bank Park wearing road grays and a blue Dodgers helmet.

This was yesterday, a Tuesday in early August that would have had nothing going for it if not for a couple of coincidentally scheduled events that returned two of the greatest athletes in Philadelphia history to their home crowd.

Westbrook was at the football stadium for yesterday's open practice, the highlight of which was the ovation he received when the Eagles announced he'll be inducted into the team's Hall of Fame.
