There were no excuses this time and, to Sam Bradford's credit, he didn't float any out there to see whether they would be batted down.

It wasn't opening night. It wasn't on the road. It wasn't his first real game in 23 months. It wasn't just one of those things.

No, none of that. The Eagles' offense just stunk it up on Sunday in their home opener against the Dallas Cowboys. The same offense that ate up yardage and scored points at a dazzling pace last season couldn't gain any traction for the second straight game.
