As I’m sure you’ve heard by now, the Eagles traded Byron Maxwell and Kiko Alonso to the Dolphins yesterday and also traded DeMarco Murray to the Titans. Both trades cannot become official until the new league year starts at 4pm EST tomorrow.
What’s not known yet is what the Eagles are receiving in compensation for these players (other than cap space!). It’s widely expected that the compensation will be in the form of draft picks.
The bigger of the two trades and the one that should return more value to the Eagles is the Maxwell/Alonso to Miami trade.
