Another potential first-round draft target for the Philadelphia Eagles is injured ahead of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Last week, it was Mississippi State defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons who suffered an ACL injury. Now ESPN is reporting that Oklahoma wide receiver Marquise Brown had surgery on a LisFranc injury last month.
The good news is that Brown, unlike Simmons, isn’t expected to miss the 2019 season. Brown’s recovery is expected to have him “ready for summer training camp” beginning in late July.
In the meantime, Brown won’t be able to participate in testing drills at the NFL Combine or Oklahoma’s pro day.
