Howie Roseman knows how to make a deal. When he has an asset, as he did with quarterback Sam Bradford, he looks at every angle and considers every opportunity. And in this case, the opportunity was just too much to pass up.
The Eagles announced on Saturday that they traded Bradford to Minnesota for, hang on here, a first-round draft pick and a fourth-round pick in 2017. The Vikings lost their franchise quarterback, Teddy Bridgewater, to a terrible knee injury earlier in the week, and as the roster cutdown deadline approached, Roseman and the Eagles pulled the trigger on the deal.
