1. Buckhalter's Advice For Long: Think Positive

Outside linebacker Travis Long suffered his third ACL tear in four years on Monday. Head coach Chip Kelly spoke with Long shortly after the doctors diagnosed the injury and told reporters that Long wants to rehab and continue to play.

One of the alumni in attendance at Tuesday's Open Practice was former running back Correll Buckhalter, who unfortunately knows a thing or two about knee injuries. Buckhalter missed all of 2002 with an ACL tear in his left knee and the 2004 and '05 seasons due to a torn patellar tendon in his right knee.
