Eagles Rumors: Eagles to trade for Dolphins outside linebacker Dion Jordan?

In Eagles rumors today, the Philadelphia Eagles may take a second chance at trading for Miami Dolphins outside linebacker Dion Jordan before May's NFL Draft.

According to FootBasket.com's Josh Dhani, by way of speculation by Tim McManus of PhillyMag.com, the Philadelphia Eagles are seriously considering taking another run at Jordan:

“There is little question that Chip Kelly is a big fan of Jordan. … Enough to part with a first-round pick in a supposedly loaded draft? Not so sure about that,” McManus stated.

“But I don’t think these talks are dead necessarily.”

After cutting star wide receiver DeSean Jackson, many draft experts believe that the Philadelphia Eagles will target the wide receiving position in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft. However, depending on what happens with Jordan, the outside linebacking spot is not out of the realm of possibility.

Despite Miami saying no to the Philadelphia Eagles' first offer of a second round pick for Dion Jordan, the Dolphins could very well soften their stance with the draft rapidly approaching.
