2016 NFL Draft: Eagles Pick QB Carson Wentz - Scouting Report, Highlight Video And More

With the second overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles have selected Carson Wentz from North Dakota State.

Position: Quarterback

Measurables: 6’5”, 237 lbs, 4.77 40-yard dash

Scouting Report:
Wentz is largely unknown to the casual fan after playing his college ball at North Dakota State, but he has all the tools of a future franchise quarterback. He has the ideal size and athleticism along with the ability to make all the throws. Questions remain about the adjustment he’ll have to make from the FCS level to the NFL, but he has experience in a pro-style system and is comfortable reading defenses.
