What the Philadelphia 76ers can learn from the San Antonio Spurs

The Philadelphia 76ers should not take much satisfaction from beating the San Antonio Spurs by just six points, mostly since Gregg Popovich’s team did not play Kawhi Leonard, Rudy Gay, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili, or Danny Green. Had Joel Embiid not played through his hand injury, the Sixers would have probably lost.

It was a typical Sixers performance: a great first half, a horrendous third quarter, and a mediocre fourth. Those second-half collapses definitely need fixing, but the Sixers should also look at how they can be more like the Spurs, who have been a dominant franchise since the mid-1990s.
