Coming into the 2019-2020 NBA season, the Philadelphia 76ers were considered among the top title contenders and were favorites to win the Eastern Conference. A starting five that would invoke fear into opposing offenses — Ben Simmons, Josh Richardson, Tobias Harris, Al Horford, and arguably the best center in the league, Joel Embiid.
However, at this point, the team does not look like they’re meeting those big expectations. At 8-5, they find themselves at fifth in the Eastern Conference. This is obviously not how the season was meant to be started.
