The only reason why the Philadelphia 76ers are not yet officially finished wheeling and dealing this offseason is Quentin Grimes. The free agent guard seems to still be at an impasse with the front office, at odds with the specific figure that would appear on his next contract in light of his brilliant play during the latter juncture of the previous campaign.
As everyone knows by now, Grimes is seeking a huge payday, hoping to be handsomely compensated for the razzle and dazzle he turned in when he was shoehorned into a featured role on offense last season after coming over from Dallas before the trade deadline.
