The speed, handle, creativity, finishing, silky floater game, pull-up flashes — Maxey had so much in his offensive arsenal that the Sixers needed more of.
Maxey showed all of those skills as his first season in Philly got underway. In just his 10th game as a pro when the Sixers had only seven available players against Denver on January 9, he put everything together for a 39-point outburst.
