T.J. McConnell was the Sixers’ MVP in Game 4

You can’t say they didn’t fight.

The Philadelphia 76ers won Game 4 on Monday night, trimming their series deficit to 3-1. While their chances of pulling of the comeback remain slim, they did break out an impressive adjustment that the Celtics struggled to provide an answer to: starting T.J. McConnell.

Once an undrafted free agent out of Arizona, McConnell was the Sixers’ most effective player in Game 4, tallying a career-high 19 points and turning the ball over zero times in 39 minutes.

There are obvious limitations to McConnell’s game, but his skill set helps fill what is arguably the biggest void in the Sixers’ rotation.
