The Union made a major executive hire when they named Tim McDermott the club's new chief business officer on Wednesday. McDermott will have responsibility for overseeing the team's business operation, including working closely with the new USL team, Bethlehem Steel FC, along with the Philadelphia Union Academy.

He is a former Eagles employee and the brother of Carolina Panthers defensive coordinator Sean McDermott.
