It’s hard not to be excited about the upcoming Sixers season. The expected core of Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, Markelle Fultz, Robert Covington and Dario Saric has the city of Philadelphia on fire right now, and deservedly so. It’s the most hope people have had in this Sixers team has had in at least five years, and it looks like ticket sales are reflecting that.
Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer reported that the Sixers have sold 14,000 season tickets for this upcoming season, the most of any team in the NBA. In fact, the demand for season ticket packages is so high that the organization is planning to start a wait list in the next few days.
