Sixers waive three, convert Jacob Pullen's contract to a two-way deal

Now that the NBA preseason is over, the Sixers are forced to get their active roster down from 20 players to just 15. They began that process on Saturday, officially requesting waivers for James Blackmon Jr., Kris Humphries, and Emeka Okafor.

Blackmon, an undrafted rookie from Indiana, essentially only got extended run in any of the preseason games when they were effectively out of reach. Okafor, who was attempting to return to the NBA after a neck injury sidelined him for nearly four years, played similar minutes to Blackmon. Friday's win over the Heat was perhaps his best game, registering two points, four rebounds, and three blocks in just 10 minutes of action.
