Sixers’ Tyrese Maxey not selected for All-NBA Team

For the first time since the 2016-17 season, there were no Philadelphia 76ers selected for the All-NBA Team.

Guard Tyrese Maxey was the Sixers’ best chance this season for an All-NBA nod, with star center Joel Embiid ineligible for the honor this season with just 39 regular season games played.

For the 2023-24 season, Maxey had already earned his first All-Star selection, the Most Improved Player award and the Sportsmanship Award. Regardless, Maxey was not voted onto the All-NBA Team that was announced by the league on Thursday evening.
