Sixers forward Tobias Harris has been tabbed as a potential replacement for Bradley Beal on the USA Men’s Olympic Basketball team.
According to The Philadelphia Inquirer’s Keith Pompey, USA Basketball has “inquired” about Sixers forward Tobias Harris. Pompey said the Sixers forward “is out of the country on vacation.” Pompey added that Harris won’t be back in the country until Saturday evening.
Team USA announced on Thursday that Beal will not participate in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. On Wednesday, Beal was placed in the COVID-19 health and safety protocols.
