The Sixers‘ attempts to trade Ben Simmons have gone nowhere so far, leading to an uncomfortable impasse with training camp on the horizon. Philadelphia desperately wants Simmons to show up and play this season, but the All-Star point guard seems determined to hold out.
A tidal wave of trade rumors have washed over the fanbase this summer, but none more curious than this new report from Evan Dammarell. According to him, the Rockets are “seriously interested” in acquiring Simmons before training camp starts. A deal would presumably involve John Wall, the former All-Star who is working with Houston on finding a new home.
