The 76ers released their rights to Arsalan Kazemi in order for the power forward to try out for the Atlanta Hawks in training camp.
Kazemi was a long shot to make the Sixers' roster. The franchise made him the first Iranian NBA draft pick when they selected him in the second round in 2013. However, he played the past two seasons overseas.
He’ll have a tough time making the Hawk' team.
