The Dallas Mavericks aren’t even bothering with smokescreens—they’ve telegraphed that they’re taking Cooper Flagg with the No. 1 overall pick—and the San Antonio Spurs figure to take Dylan Harper at No. 2, although that isn’t quite as much of a lock.
Even if the top two picks are chalky, the Sixers will have plenty of options at No. 3. If they aren’t interested in standing pat and taking Ace Bailey, V.J. Edgecombe or another prospect at that spot, they could have at least one suitor interested in trading up.
