It was a battle of two 5-1 teams Wednesday night as the Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Boston Celtics 106-103 for the top spot in the Eastern Conference.
The Sixers led by seven at halftime and the Celtics battled back in the third with a flurry of triples. On the back of Joel Embiid, the Sixers extended their lead to double digits to enter the fourth, but the Celtics weren’t lying down.
