Joel Embiid’s journey to be an NBA player has been an interesting one. After just playing one season at Kansas, the big man from overseas decided to declare for the NBA Draft, despite all of the injury problems he had. Embiid, a 7’2″ center missed his entire first season, and is currently missing his entire second season as well for the same foot surgery.
Some fans are skeptical that Embiid will ever play in the NBA, but others are hopeful that Embiid is the cornerstone of the Sixers’ future. We’ve seen videos of him come out of him warming up before games.
