Report: Sixers sign Corey Brewer to 10-day contract

According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, the Sixers are signing veteran swingman Corey Brewer to a 10-day contract.

This is the first of what will likely be many attempts to remedy the team’s clear lack of depth on the perimeter.

For his career, Brewer has averages of 23.3 minutes and 8.9 points per game. He is a career 28.3 percent shooter from three-point range, though he made 34.3 percent of his attempts in an 18-game stint with Oklahoma City last season.

From the Sixers:

PHILADELPHIA – JAN. 15, 2019 – Philadelphia 76ers General Manager Elton Brand announced today that the team has signed Corey Brewer to a 10-day contract.
